A beautiful hand blown vase in olive green and prussian blue, with bubble inclusions.

The initial gather is covered in a weblike pattern, blown to create a cloud effect. The vase is then cased in clear glass to just below the neck, leaving an area of "bark" textured glass.

Benny Motzfeldt (born 1909) worked for Hadeland as a designer from 1955 to 1967, then at Randsfjord from 1967, again as a designer. She is the founding figure of the Norwegian studio glass movement and had a huge influence on a younger generation of Norwegian glass blowers.
